Day 01: Entebbe

Touch down at the Entebbe International Airport where you will meet a Features Africa Representative to welcome you to Uganda. After a short brief introduction to Uganda, you will be transferred to your Hotel for an overnight stay. Overnight will be at the Kampala Serena Hotel.

Day 02: Murchison Falls

After breakfast, you will meet up with your safari guide and depart for the Murchison falls National Park.  En route, you will make a brief stopover at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. This is the only home to the only Wild Rhinos in Uganda. This amazing reserve was gazette to re-introduce and conserve Rhinos which had been extinct since 1982.
You will have a ranger accompany you as you track these animals at close quarters. After this visit you will proceed for the Murchison Fall. Dinner and overnight will be at the Fort Murchison safari Camp. All meals Included.

Day 03: Murchison Falls

Breakfast will be served early. After breakfast, you will depart your camp and start with a game drive on the northern banks of the majestic Nile. Wildlife is abundant in this area and your guide will help you look out for the resident species. Lions, Giraffes, Antelopes and various bird species can be found here. After Lunch, you will have a scheduled boat ride on the Nile for game viewing. As you approach the bottom of the waterfall, you will disembark the boat and follow a nature trail to the top of the fall where you will enjoy amazing sweeping scenic views of the Nile. You will then embark on your journey to the Budongo Eco Lodge for your Overnight stay. All meals included.

Day 04: Kibale Forest

On this day, you depart Murchison after breakfast and head for the Kibale Forest national Park. The drive is scenic as you enjoy stunning views and pass through small villages and markets. Fort Portal rests in the shadow of the “Mountains of the Moon” with endless tea plantations. You will continue into the dense Kibale Forest arriving early evening at the Kibale Primate Lodge. All meals included.

Day 05: Kibale Forest Crater Lakes

After breakfast, you will head out to explore the various crater lakes. Soak in the beauty and diverse culture the region has to offer.  You will be taken for a hike at the Lake Nkuruba as you encounter the different species of Primates and bird in this area. You will also visit the Mahoma Falls. As you hike through the forest villages, you will visit the Batoro tribe. Return to your lodge early afternoon for rest. All meals and overnight will be at the Kibale Primate Lodge. All meals included.

Day 06: Kibale Forest & Bigodi Swamp

This day you will leave the lodge after breakfast to track the Chimpanzees of Kibale Forest. Kibale forest is reputed for having the highest concentration and variety of primates in East Africa. You will be treated to an interesting nature walk in the tropical rain forest in search of Wild Chimps; Red tailed Monkey, black and White Colobus monkey among other primates. After your picnic lunch, you will be transferred to Bigodi Swamp which is a community initiative and well known for its diversity in bird and primate species.  After this excursion at Bigodi, you will be transferred back to your hotel for meals and overnight. Overnight will be at the Kibale Primate Lodge. All meals included.

Day 07: Queen Elizabeth

You will have an early morning excursion to the nearby Ruwenzori Mountains. You will have a guided walk on the foot hills of the mountains learning more about the region its beauty and the inhabitants. You will later proceed to the Queen Elizabeth National park. Check in to your hotel at the Ishasha Wilderness Camp. Dinner and overnight will be at the Ishasha Wilderness Camp. All meals included.

Day 08: Queen Elizabeth

This day begins early as you start with an early morning game drive. You will venture out to the breeding grounds for the Uganda Kob. Here you will be on the lookout for Lions, Elephants, Buffalo, among other resident wildlife of Queen Elizabeth. You will return for lunch in your camp. After Lunch, you will be treated to a boat ride along the Kazinga Channel. The Kazinga channel is a natural channel between Lake Edward and Lake George. There are numerous species of bird and mammals notably Elephants, Buffaloes, and hundreds of Hippos that can be seen cooling off on the shores of the Kazinga. This is a safari highlight and not to be missed safari experience. Return to your camp for dinner and overnight stay. You will spend your overnight at the Ishasha Wilderness Camp. All meals included.

Day 09: Bwindi South, Lake Mutanda

This day you will be transferred from the scenic Queen Elizabeth National Park and head for the south west. The scenic drive gets you to the shores of Lake Mutanda. Arrive at the Lake Mutanda resort for you overnight stay. Meals and overnight will be at the Lake Mutanda Resort. All Meals included.

Day 10: Bwindi Gorilla Tracking

This day will provide one of the major highlights of the Uganda Gorilla safari. A meeting with the gentle giants of Bwindi – The Gorillas. You will walk through steep and sometimes muddy terrain before encountering the Gorillas deep in the rain forest.  You will have special Gorilla trackers and rangers who will help you spend sometime with the magnificent primates. Unique and unforgettable experiences as you photograph them eat, play and rest. Return to your resort for a well-deserved evening. Meals and overnight will be at the Lake Mutanda Resort. All meals included.

Day 11: Bwindi – Batwa Trail

the Bwindi is mainly known for the gorillas. On this day however, you will be treated to Batwa Trail. This is a unique interaction with some of the most interesting cultures of the World. The Batwa pygmies are a forest dwellers displaced from the rain forest they shared with the Gorillas. This experience will give you the opportunity to learn more about their age old culture while you enjoy a hike with the Batwa Guides. See how they lived and hunted, hear ancient legends and learn more about the medicinal plants they use for common ailments. Return to your resort for dinner and overnight. Meals and overnight will be at the Lake Mutanda resort. All meals included.

Day 12: Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, you will depart lake Mutanda region for the Lake Bunyonyi, the second deepest lake in Africa. Arrive in time for lunch. There will be an optional afternoon hike that leads to the peak of the Kyabahinga peninsula with breathtaking views over the sweeping lake Bunyonyi. Dinner and overnight will be at the Lake Bunyonyi Eco Resort. All meals included.
Day 13: Kampala

Depart the lake Bunyonyi after breakfast, heading for the capital city of Kampala. Arrive at Kampala in time for lunch and afternoon will be spent at leisure. Overnight will be at the Kampala Serena Hotel. Breakfast Included

Day 14: Kampala Departure

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Entebbe International Airport depending on your flight schedule.
